For the past year and a half, I have been hacking away at learning the iPhone/iPad (now iOS) SDK. I’ve read the famous K&R book to refresh my memory with topics such as memory management and pointers. I then moved on to Objective-C 2.0 and the iPhone libraries. I’ve worked on small personal projects and my iPhone is full of test programs that I’ve written, but something is still missing.

That something is quality developer blogs focusing on iOS development. The two biggest problems I have with the blogs I find are: 1) they are not updated regularly and 2) they don’t focus on code. I’ve posted multiple requests on twitter and the responses I receive are for blogs about app marketing or how to find the “best” apps in the app store.

I have found a few Cocoa blogs that I recommend:

Cocoa with Love (http://cocoawithlove.com/)

Cocoa Is My Girlfriend (http://www.cimgf.com/)

Cocoa Samurai (http://cocoasamurai.blogspot.com/)

We need more. If you know of a blog that I’m missing, please post it in the comments. Also, if you are interested in starting or are currently running a blog/screencast focusing on iOS development send me an email.

Welcome to my little hole on the inter-webs. I plan on keeping these pages updated with current projects I’m working on, pictures I take, books I read, and other random thoughts that come across my mind. If you have any suggestions for things I should add, please send me an email.
